I believe Bill Collings is partly responsible for the national resurgence of mandolin playing/players. His entry into mandolin building sort of "woke up" anyone interested in playing mandolin because of flawless build quality and a tone and loudness that cannot be denied. $2600 list, $2340 MAP.
