  1. Nice big pics with great detail. What camera are you using?

  2. Olympus 8080. It's a 10 megapixel with wide angle lens.

  3. What's the story on that Face Brace pickup on the Cole Clark FL2A12? Is there more than just the one pickup on the face...i.e. some kind of blend? They're pretty vague about it on their website. Are the slider controls just eq? Looks fascinating. Thanks.

  4. Hi Arthur,
This is from the new review of a Cole Clark FL1AC in Premier Guitar magazine. The FL2A 12 uses the same pickups:" The system is comprised of six individual piezo sensors under the bridge and a Face Brace transducer with three sensors mounted under the soundboard. A unique Blend slider on the guitar’s preamp allows you to adjust the crossover point of where the guitar’s high-end frequencies are captured from—moving the slider away from you causes more of the bridge piezos’ high-end to be amplified; pulling the slider towards you causes the system to amplify more highend from the sensors.
Premier Guitar gave the Cole Clark a 5 out of 5. That is rare. 4 or 4.5 is normal for a guitar they really like.

  5. I'm going to see if I can post a link to the entire Premier Guitar review of the Cole Clark:

  6. Very helpful. Certainly a good review. Might to have think seriously of getting a deposit on that FL2A12...

  7. Hey Jerry...someone on mentioned something about "...jerry's t-shirts..." Would that be you? You still have 'em available or was that a 'limited edition' thing? I'd definitely be interested. Thanks.

  8. I had a bunch of T shirts made about 18 months ago. I had sort of forgotten about them. Most are gone, but I have a few left. I need to look into having another run made. Thanks for the reminder.

  9. I recently came accross your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I dont know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
