  1. Hey Jerry! I'm a Luthier in Ga., moved here from living in Sara./Brad. for about 20 years., miss the Beach, but our Lake here in Blue Ridge has never had "Red Tide", har! As a former BeaTle WORSHIPPER (now Christ), I first thought of doing another 12 string build around the Danno Bridge, instead of cloning yet another 360 "RIC", mainly because of the 12 INDIVIDUAL Saddles, but then wait-----! I couldn't put the octaves on the BOTTOM, (as RIC) because upon closer inspection of the Danno Bridge (RH) the Bass (Std. Set) strings would be LIFTED up too far, throwing the intonation way off, no matter where you slide the bridge piece, SO---------! Since they (Danno) DO NOT make a TRUE L/H Bridge, when they sell their L/H 12'ver it comes strung as I mentioned. Have you "TRIED" to intonate a 'Leftie', be blessed, cause they notched their nut so that your STUCK with the original config. of Octaves on the TOP, but now with the added "feature'' of having an non-intonatable instrument! If one was desirous of having a RIC sound, with Octaves on Bottom, he/she would HAVE to be a Leftie, and replace the nut, with it notched appropriately! NOW, we get into ANOTHER problem, the blasted Danno Nut is a 1/8" (.125) thick chunk of ALUMINUM!!!!! Not as Maleable as Bone, or any Composite! All I can say is NGHVKDJR#$^&*)V%$%^ETNXFGL>KIYI^&!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! End of 'Rant' Happy New Tears mate!
